The bootrec.exe device can be used to fix:

A expert begin history (MBR)

Please observe that this guide assumes on you have your original os cd so you can repair and fix start-up mistakes. You will also need to create sure that the begin choices in your BIOS are set to begin from your cd/dvd generate. If your dvd does not begin up and you do not see the choice to “press any key to begin from dvd” then you need to begin your BIOS and modify begin choices.
If your PC cannot get into Windows, or your Windows has issues, this CD can help!
The first factor you should try if you are having begin issues it to begin Windows Restoration Console and select the Startup Repair. Then if that does not perform you can try some more advanced choices such as using the Bootrec.exe device.

Note Use the Bootrec.exe device to repair “Bootmgr Is Missing” problem. If restoring the BCD does not take care of the start-up problem, you can trade and remove the BCD, and then run this choice again. By doing this, you create sure that the BCD is absolutely renewed.

To do this, kind the following orders at the Windows RE command prompt:

This won’t perform if

1.  If your pc is not designed to begin from a CD or DVD, check the information that came with your pc. You may need to modify your pc's BIOS configurations as stated above.

Choose your terminology configurations, and then click on Next.
Click Repair your pc.
Select the os you want to fix, and then click on Next.
On the Program Restoration Options selection, click on Startup Repair
2.  If you added anything that your PC components will recognize as a disk generate (USB external HD, memory reader & maybe even a MP3 player), then Win7 will install /Boot/BCD to one of these.

3. I’m also supposing that you don’t have multi-partitioned HD with dual-booting OS’s. Just reconfigure your components & BIOS to the same as when you set up a working Win 7. If it works, then do the application factor.
